



It was 1968, and the Summer Olympics were underway in Mexico. Norma Enriqueta "Queta" Basilio Sotelo became the first woman to light the Olympic cauldron. Dick Fosbury won the gold in high jumping for his signature "Fosbury Flop." Coins were minted. Some were made into silver rings like this one.
