This hat is inscribed "W.E. Gresham." Were they any relation to William Lindsay Gresham, the famous noir author? We couldn't tell you for sure. All we know is that we're pretty sure that on the right night, we could see the silhouette of this hat leaning in an alleyway, the glow of a cigarette lighting up a face that has seen both too little... and too much. No interior band.
